I don't know if any of you are fans of the show Queer As Folk (US version). I started watching it a few weeks ago and I'm totally hooked. Yup, just what I need, another fandom *g*, but, God, did I fall hard! I love the characters, especially Brian and Justin, and the story plots are great. If any of you have be thinking about seeing this series, I say run, don't walk, to your nearest video store and start watching. You won't be disappointed.
For those of you who don't know QAF, here is a series summary I snagged from TV.com:
Queer as Folk is an innovative, provocative, and groundbreaking series that has now ended after a five year run, the series chronicled the friendships, careers, loves, trials, tribulations, and ambitions of a diverse group of gay men and lesbians living in Pittsburgh, PA. Blending strong drama with necessary charm and humor, it rivals any other show presented on television. Over the shows run it has managed to cover a wide range of issues including Aids, cancer, drug addictions and the trials of love.
Because I am loving this show so much, I've decided to add it to my LJ along side the other three fandoms (TS, Pros, S&H). I know I will be doing a lot of wallpapers, icons and songvids for QAF, and wanted a place to be able to share them.
To start things off, I've made three wallpapers featuring Brian and Justin. Hope you like!

Date: 2008-03-07 08:47 pm (UTC)A friend had mentioned QAF to me back when it first aired, but I never watched it. Then just recently the LOGO channel started airing the eps five days a week, so I decided to give it a try and I was hooked from the first episode. Unfortunately LOGO has edited/hacked the crap out of the show, taking out all the good 'bits' *g*, but I'm going to be getting the DVDs, so it's going to be fun to start from the beginning eps again and see all the parts that were cut out.
