Adam Lambert!!! (American Idol)

So I don't spoil it for those ouside of North America who may not have yet seen the Top 3 contestants sing, please click on the cut for my Adam ramblings about last night's performances along with some video clips.







And then there were three! Adam, Kris and Danny are left. I think the voters did right by these three. They really deserve to be the three left standing. Kris and Danny are both very good singers, I do like them and enjoy hearing them sing, however I believe that they are waaay out-shined by Adam. His vocals and performance level are so far above the other Kris and Danny. On top of Adam's talent, he possesses that ability which draws you right in and makes you become enamored by him. Overall, everything about him is amazing! *g* And I swear I'll eat my left shoe if Adam doesn't come out the overall winner of AI!

Last night's performances... what can I say, totally loved the songs Adam sang!! Simon's choice of U2's 'One' couldn't have been more perfect for Adam. And when Adam said that he was going to sing 'Cryin' by Aerosmith as his second song, I have to admit I turned into a squeally fangirl! I've been dying to hear him sing something by Steven Tyler and, man, he did not disappoint! What an excellent job he did last night! I find myself feeling so very proud of him and I do hope that his dream to win AI comes true. I believe he is truly deserving of it!

I so love him. I'm so afraid ppl will think he's automatically got it and won't vote! The sound last night to crying was awful. Not his vocals, but the sound tech didn't sync the background singers right. Their vocals almost over powered is at times. It was a technically issue. When I first heard it, I was like 'ouch'. But when playing it back it sounded amazing! I hope ppl at home weren't put off by it. I heard one commentor said they were tired of his 'screeching' :-0

That person should be tarred and feathered! lol
I'm keeping my fingers crossed for him tonight!

Yeah, that's my fear as well. On one of the Adam ljs, they were telling people not to split their votes between the three guys because in the end their votes will cancel each other out, so I hope they were listening to that advice and only gave their votes to Adam!

You're right about sound. Something did seem off and the female backup singer was getting on my nerves, she was screeching over Adam's singing, but when I went back and listened to him again onine, he sounded amazing! And I can't wait to hear the studio verison of both those songs. I bet they're going to rock!

It's definitely going to be a nail-biting result show tonight. God, I've got my entire body crossed that Adam moves to the final two!
