Please forgive me if this has been discussed or written about elsewhere, but I've often wondered how the actors coped with all that very intimate physical contact? I wonder if it drew them closer together or what......because they really did experience some very intense scenes, didn't they?
I don't know about the other actors in QAF, but as for Gale and Randy from what I've read and heard they became good friends during QAF. At a recent con in Paris that Randy attended, someone mentioned Gale to him and he said something along the lines of "Gale, I adore him." Which leads me to believe that they are still good friends to this day, but they just don't get to see each very often due to Gale being in LA filming Desperate Housewives and Randy living in NYC.
Here's a little quote from Gale having to do with acting a scene: "You are preparing yourself for a scene, and the most important thing is to remain emotionally available and remain in the moment with your scene partner. You don't want to let your own self-consciousness block the flow of creativity that's coming out so that you can act and react, and play what the scene is all about.
I don't think either Gale or Randy had a problem doing the more intimate scenes together. I believe it brought them closer together and thus it showed in their characters.
